Lance Wade Nunnallee

Lance Wade Nunnallee
May 13, 1969 ~ June 14, 2020

Lance Wade Nunnallee was born May 13, 1969 in Nowata, Oklahoma and left this life on June 14, 2020.

He was educated in Nowata Schools and attended Kansas Wesleyan University for one year on a football scholarship and then attended Northern Oklahoma college in Tonkawa before joining the United States Marine Corps. After his stint in the military, he then came back to Ponca City to start his career as a pipefitter. He was a member of the Pipefitters Union Local 430 out of Tulsa.

Lance met his life partner, Summer Rae Littleford in 2008 and they began their life together. That life brought his first and only son, Connor, born February 25, 2011.

Lance traveled many places working, but he always loved coming home top Ponca City, where they made their home and where he and his son enjoyed playing video games, shooting guns, and playing with Legos.

Lance was preceded in death by his father, Butch Nunnallee, his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He leaves behind his loving family including his partner Summer, son Connor, Mother Cheryl Nunnallee and brother Jason, all of Ponca City.

Mr. Happy will be missed by his family and friends!

Friends may send condolences and cards to 54087 E Hwy 60 Burbank, Oklahoma 74633.

The family will receive guests from 3-6pm, Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Stumpff-Nowata Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral home will be open Wednesday from 9am to 8pm.
