Patrick Joseph Novotny

March 3, 1926 ~ July 23, 2003

McAllen-Mission - Patrick Joseph Novotny, 77, passed away Wednesday morning, July 23, 2003. Patrick was born in Chickasha, OK, on March 3, 1926.

He lived in McAllen since 1962. He was a former resident of Oklahoma.

He was a member of Our Lady Of Sorrows Catholic Church in McAllen.

He is survived by a son, Randy Novotny of McAllen, TX; two daughters: Mona Stapleton of Marble Falls, TX, Connie Roccato, of Austin, TX; a sister Theresa Holland, of Shreveport, LA; a brother Paul Novotny of Anadarko, OK; and four grandchildren.

Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Elita Novotny on October 9, 1985.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24, 2003, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Virgil Wilson Memorial Chapel in McAllen (800 N. Main).

Funeral Mass was held today, Friday, July 25, 2003, at 1- a.m. at Our Lady Of Sorrows in McAllen.

Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.

Funeral services and arrangements under the direction of Virgil Wilson Mortuary in McAllen.
