Gaylon Levern North
August 9, 1961 ~ September 21, 2017 (age 56)

Gaylon Levern North 56, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born August 9, 1961 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. He was the son of Donald North of Pennsylvania and Dorthy North (Hill) of California. Gaylon passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He enjoyed the outdoors, off roading, fishing, camping and being with family and friends. Gaylon moved to Elk City in 2014 and worked as a truck driver for American Manifold. Prior to moving to Elk City he resided in Pacoima, California where he drove for Swift for five years, and worked for Ralph's market for fifteen years.

Gaylon is survived by his sister Sherry Shadle of Elk City, Oklahoma, 2 nephews Paul Shadle and Jullion Hernandez both of Pacoima California, 1 niece Ruthie Roufs of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Dorthy North.

Memorials can be made to The American Heart Association or to The Cancer Society.

Private services will be held at a later date
