Joyce Ann Nodine, 71, of Bartlesville, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023.
Joyce was born April 28, 1951, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Raymond and Mildred Elizabeth (Sigsbury) Wuesthoff. She loved children and worked as a caregiver for a state-run childcare facility in Bartlesville. For several years, she had been employed as the cafeteria manager for Kane Elementary School.
Joyce was a true animal lover, a passion she passed on to her daughters, Jill and Michelle. Joyce previously owned a dog grooming business, Unisex Dog Grooming. Her favorite hobby was dog training and going to dog shows, especially with her favorite little furbaby, Angel.
Joyce was a giving person and would help people in need, always willing to buy groceries or lend a helping hand. She enjoyed music and was a fan of Kenny Rogers. In her younger years she used to go to car shows and her favorite car was the Studebaker Hawk.
Joyce loved going to zoos and one of Michelle’s favorite memories is when Joyce spent the 4th of July at the Oklahoma Aquarium, where Michelle worked at the time. Jill loved spending time outside in the backyard, lighting the chiminea and having drinks with her mother. Even grocery shopping and just spending time together at home were special with Joyce. Her love and sense of humor will be missed.
Joyce is survived by her two daughters, Jill Zarantonello and Michelle Zarantonello; Joyce’s longtime friend, Josephine Kempston; two grandchildren, Justus Savarrio Zarantonello and Savannah Jean Hammons; two great-grandchildren, Elliyannah Sarah Simms and Stephan Raphael Zarantonello.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Carter Davis and Davis Family Funeral Home – Dewey Chapel, 113 S. Osage Ave. (Hwy 75), Dewey, OK 74029, 918-534-3030. Online condolences and remembrances may be shared at www.DavisFamilyFuneralHome.com.
