Danny Eugene Nixon
November 8, 1946 - November 12, 2020

Danny Nixon was born November 8, 1946, in Enid to Don Leroy and Margaret (Kuhnemund) Nixon and passed away on November 12, 2020, in Enid.

Danny graduated from Maryville High School in Arizona. He attended Arizona State University. Danny was drafted to the Houston Astros and played with them for two years.

Danny married Janet Kraft on September 3, 1983, in Enid. He worked at Farmland as a Maintenance Director for over twenty-four years and then retired. He enjoyed coaching the Enid Legion Baseball and EJRT. Danny's first love in life was his family, kids and grandkids, as well as his animals, especially his dogs.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his brother, David.

Danny is survived by his wife, Janet Nixon; children, Stephanie Ford and Michelle Marshall; three grandchildren; and sister, Beverly Nixon.

At Danny's request he is being cremated and there will be no services held. Cremation arrangements with Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
