Sharon (Leslie) Nichols
July 25, 1944 ~ June 27, 2016

Sharon was born in Ada, OK, to Elijah Clesto Leslie and Norma Belle Leslie.

Sharon enjoyed art, camping, and dancing. Sharon graduated from Durant High School and attended OU followed by UCO, where she received her B.A. Later, she received her Master's in Psychology from SEOSU.

Sharon devoted her life to public service as a children's advocate. She retired from social work for the State of Oklahoma in 2005.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Doyle Leslie of Austin, TX; son, Michael Lane Nichols of Conway, AR; daughter, Heather Castillo of Oakdale, CA; grandchildren, Joshua, Dylan, Zachary, Jarod, Seth, Shade, and Walker; great-grandchildren, Vincent, Sophia and Grayson.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 7pm-9pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home with services to celebrate her life at 10am, Wednesday, July 6, 2016.
