Bill Ray Nichols

January 6, 1925 ~ October 19, 2004

Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., on Monday, October 25, at 10:00 a.m. and Memorial services will be held at Calvary Bible Church, 48 Manor Dr., at 11:00 a.m. following graveside service, for Bill Ray Nichols, 79, who passed away October 19, 2004. Pastors Doug Davis and Don Bertrand will officiate.

Mr. Nichols was born on January 6, 1925, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma and resided in Kern County for 63 years. He drove trucks for 40 years. Mr. Nichols was a member of Calvary Bible Church and Teamsters Union Retirement Club. He was a golf nut and played regularly at North Kern.

Mr. Nichols is survived by his wife, Barbara Nichols; daughters, Penny Rogers, Shari Iacopetti and husband, Robert and Gail Moore and husband, Jim all of Bakersfield; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and brother, Nick Nichols of Napa, CA. No visitation is scheduled.
