Cuong Van Nguyen

Cuong Van Nguyen
May 27, 1970 ~ June 29, 2020

Cuong Van Nguyen, 50, was born on May 27, 1970 in Vietnam to Chuan and Mai Nguyen. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his parents, Chuan and Mai; siblings, Snow, Nga, Hong, John, Tony and Kevin; brothers-in-law, Thinh, Mike and Viet; and nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Ashley, Jasmine, Brandon, Dylan, Kenneth, Christian and Adam who he cared for deeply. Cuong also has an abundance of friends throughout the Oklahoma City and Houston metropolitan areas.

His electric personality lights up in any room. He built his reputation and pride on genuine love, honesty, and endless laughter. As a person with an immense set of skills, his passion was discovering new talents and sharing the joy with loved ones. His quick wit and gift of gab was unmatched and second to none. He had a heart of gold that was revered by everyone.

The sudden loss of Cuong is devastating to his family and many others. He was definitely one-of-a-kind. We will remember him as a selfless soul with a big heart. The impact he has made on so many lives will be long everlasting. Our family would like to take this moment to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers in honor of Cuong. His memory will live on and will be greatly missed.

Viewing will be Thursday, 1-9pm and Friday, 9am-9pm at Mercer-Adams. There will be prayer services both Thursday and Friday, July 2nd & 3rd, 7:30-9pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, July 4, 10:00am at The Cathedral of Our Lady, 3214 N. Lake Avenue, OKC.
