Clydia Earline Newman-Waters
April 12, 1928 ~ November 9, 2021

Clydia Earline Newman Waters, 93 years of age, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. Earline was born on April 12, 1928, to Andrew and Etta Cranford in Maysville, OK. She was the fourth from the youngest of 14 children, all of which preceded her in death.

Earline is survived by her husband, Don Waters, her daughter, Connie Truex and husband, Buck of Fort Worth, Texas, her son Kerwin Waters and wife, Cynthia, of Houston, Texas, her son Rick Waters and wife, Rhonda, of Ponca City, her granddaughter, Desiree McDonald and husband, Brian, of Fort Worth, her grandson, Ryan Waters and wife, Nicole of Ponca City, her granddaughter, Kara Hamilton and husband, Blake, of Tulsa, granddaughters, Lauren, Kayla and Meagan Waters of Houston, Texas and numerous great grandchildren.

Earline loved spending time with family and friends. She was an avid golfer in her younger years, enjoyed fishing, camping, loved playing with lady luck, traveling, antiques, and shopping. She will always be remembered for her generosity and heart felt kindness and amazing sense of humor.

A celebration of her life will be held on the Marland Mansion estate at Lydie’s Cottage, located at 901 Monument Rd., Ponca City, OK, 74604, on November 20, 2021, at 12:00pm. Family and friends are welcome to join in this observance of her life.
