Ruth Marie (Denman) Nesbit
July 15, 1958 ~ November 24, 2023

Ruth Nesbit, 65 year old Woodward resident, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 in Enid. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2023 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel.

Ruth Marie (Denman) Nesbit was born on July 15, 1958 in Miami, Oklahoma to Ira Roy "Budd" and Donna Maxine Denman. She attended and graduated from Commerce High School. Ruth received her Associate Degree in Accounting from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. She was united in marriage to Scott Nesbit on May 7, 1994 at Woodward Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They made their home in Tulsa and also lived in Quincy, Illinois, Joplin, Missouri, Madison, Mississippi before settling in Woodward. Ruth worked in Medical Billing, Accounting, cost estimating, and recruiting.

She enjoyed quilting, canning, gardening, helping others, riding Harley's, vacations, tigers and being with her family. Ruth spent many hours working on Quilts of Valor for veterans in the area. She was also a member of OHCE.

She is survived by her husband Scott Nesbit of the home; two sons, Chris Denman and wife Megan of Webb City, Missouri, Anthony Nesbit of Woodward; one daughter, Kelly Hudson of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; one brother, Michael Denman; one sister Donna Shoultz; grandchildren, Ally Roberson, Christoher Denman, Haven Glidewell, and Gage Parrish; other relatives and friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents.
