Susan Kay (Ridgeway) Neff

Dec. 8, 1953 ~ June 26, 2018

Susan Kay (Ridgeway) Neff passed away June 26, 2018. She was born Dec. 8, 1953, Emporia, KS to Martin & Marjorie (Rice) Ridgeway. Graduated Roosevelt H.S. 1970, and Emporia State, BS '74, MS '79. Married Dennis Neff of Emporia, March 31, 1972 and had two children together. Taught elementary in Chanute, KS before becoming a lifelong homemaker and volunteer.

Susan enjoyed reading, puzzles, camping, crafts, and reality shows. She loved her dogs and the mountains.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Gary and Charles.

She is survived by her husband Dennis, son Charles (and wife Laura) and their children John & Emma, daughter Julie (and husband William Babb), numerous cousins and other extended family, as well as many loving friends.

Memorial service 1 pm, Sat., July 7, First UMC of Edmond, OK. Reception at Crawford Funeral Home, Edmond, Fri., July 6, 6-8 pm. Interment at a later date, Hillside Cemetery, Saffordville, KS.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Susan's honor to the Neff Endowed Scholarship at Emporia State Unv. or Oklahoma City Unv.
