Charlett Marie (Castleman) Neal

May 6, 1942 ~ Oct 6, 2014

Charlett Neal, age 72 of Lexington, passed away Monday, October 06, 2014. Charlett Marie Castleman was born May 6, 1942 in Lindsay, OK, a twin and the youngest child of Herbert Samuel Castleman and Gladys (Yandell) Castleman. She was raised in Lindsay and attended school there, graduating in 1960. Charlett worked as a secretary at various businesses for many years. She made her home primarily in Wanette, so she could care for parents in their later years. Charlett enjoyed tending to her garden, she was an avid animal lover, and especially her dogs, and loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed!

She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Herbert and Gladys Castleman; 2 sisters, Joyce Selman Deaton and Norma Jean Carr Butler and Sister-in-law, Billie Carol Castleman.

Charlett leaves behind: Her twin brother, Charles Castleman of Pauls Valley, OK and Sister, Pat McCoy and husband Leroy of Purcell; 3 nephews, Jimmy Michael Deaton, Brad Butler and Chris Butler; Her niece, Shelley Castleman Slawson and A host of other family and friends.

A Private Memorial is scheduled for a later date.
