Barbara Ann (Oxford) Nagy of Durant, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at her residence at the age of 73. She was born on April 30, 1952, in Yuba City, California to Henry Clay and Bettye Sue (Threet) Oxford.
Barbara enjoyed her country life where she could spend time raising her chickens and other farm animals. Her biggest joy in life came from spending time with her grandbabies and her great grandbabies. She married the love of her life, John Nagy on July 16, 1977, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they owned and operated a trucking company.
Surviving Barbara are her husband John of the home, her brother Kenny Oxford of Durant, Oklahoma, her daughter Valorie Atkins and her husband Doug of Durant, Oklahoma, her daughter Luvenia Foskett and her husband Steve of Milburn, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her grandchildren Aaron Abbott and his wife Amy of Mead, Oklahoma, Ashleigh Haertling and her husband Zeb of Milburn, Oklahoma, Bryssa Atkins of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, great grandchildren Carson Haertling of Milburn, Oklahoma, Cayden Haertling of Milburn, Oklahoma, and Royal Abbott of Mead, Oklahoma, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous cousins and in-laws from John’s side of the family.
Preceding Barbara in death are her parents Henry Clay and Bettye Sue Oxford, her brothers Roy and Jimmie Oxford, her uncle Johnny Threet, and her nephew Andrew Oxford.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., in the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bruce McLaughlin officiating.
