Kirsten (Sessums) Myers
May 24, 1950 ~ April 12, 2021 (age 70)

Kirsten Myers, a loving soul, left this earthly life on April 12, 2021 at the age of 70. She was born in Berlin, Germany to James Mcaddo Sessums and Johanna Katharine (Tomaszewaki) Sessums on May 24, 1950. Kristen married her husband John Myers in Bell County, Texas. A memorial service in honor of her life will be at 2:00 PM Thursday April 15th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma with Pastor Jesse West officiating.

Kirsten worked for the Choctaw Nation EVS and was a Home Health Care Provider. She enjoyed many things; knitting, crocheting, being outside on a beautiful day gardening, watching CSI on television, but she especially enjoyed her dogs. She loved her morning cups of coffee and talks with her daughter.

Mrs. Myers is survived by her cherished husband, John of the Durant home, Daughters, Katherine Chris Hicks and Eric Hamshar of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Patricia Jane Ragan and husband Dr. Charles Ragan of Spokane, Washington, and Teresa Anne Mattingly of Sherman, Texas, Sister, Ramona Harper of Hampton, Virginia, Grandchild, Ashley Hicks and husband Tommy Clayton of Tulsa, Oklahoma, along with Kameryn and Amelia Ragan, and a Great-grandchild, Kobe Clayton. Sister-in-law, Rebecca Waymack and husband Les.

Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her parents, James and Johanna Sessums.

Services are under the direction of Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma
