Billy Wade "Bill" Myers
January 14, 1956 ~ July 5, 2021

The funeral service for Bill W. Myers, 65-year-old Goltry resident is 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021, in the First Baptist Church of Enid. Rev. Jerred Unruh officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Bill was born January 14, 1956, in Mooreland, Oklahoma, to Dallas Wade and Alice(Fenton) Myers and died Monday, July 5, 2021, in Enid. He attended Goltry and Vici schools and graduated from Goltry with the class of 1974. He worked for a time in the Oklahoma oil fields until, in 1983 he began his career as a corrections officer at Crabtree. He retired as a captain after 27 years. He also worked at Winters livestock for many years.

Bill loved to ride his motorcycles and horses. He enjoyed trail-riding out by Camargo many times.

He is survived by his daughters, Codie Myers and Breanna Myers, both of Enid; two sisters, Teresa Specht and husband Rex of Parker, CO., and Bobbie Jean Prentice and husband Richard of Drummond; three aunts, Kathy Moss and husband Raymond of Alva, Lois Holly and husband Harold of Carmago, and Janice Fenton of Weatherford. Also surviving is good family friend, Jenny Beliele of Enid.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an uncle Darrel, also maternal grandparents Ivan and Sylvia Fenton, many cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to OMRF(Stroke Division).
