Emma (Hothouse) Myer

April 15, 1940 ~ September 8, 2014

Emma Hothouse Myer daughter of John and Jennie Vann Hothouse was born April 15, 1940 in Adair County, Oklahoma and departed this life on September 8, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years, 4 months and 23 days.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed the duties that followed her role of being a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She worked as a lineman for Tyson Foods Inc. She loved gardening and giving her fresh veggies away, tending to her flowers, crocheting, quilting, yard sales and loved going to church. She was a member of Guiding Light Church. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and 2 special great grandchildren.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents, husband William Wesley Myer and brother Willis Hothouse.

She is survived by a very loving family that includes her daughters Eva Poindexter and husband Richard of Peggs, OK, Jackie Lewis and husband Corey and Rhonda Buck all of Bunch, OK, 12 grandchildren Melissa Lewis, Robert Shivers, Angie Bolinger, Samuel Poindexter, Tinisha Lewis, Jonathan Lewis, Brenden Lewis, Tony Lewis, Robert Lewis, Emily Lewis, Autumn Hothouse, Randall Buck. 11 great grandchildren brother Blue Hothouse of Stilwell, OK, sister Lillie Vann of Bunch, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
