Elizabeth "Hot Dog" (Gambler) Murphy

April 29, 1943 ~ Nov. 17, 2007

Elizabeth Jane "Hot Dog" Murphy a resident of Henryetta passed away on November 17, 2007 in Tulsa, Ok at the age of 64. Born April 29, 1943 in Henryetta, Ok to Wallace and Stella (Brunner) Gambler. She worked as a Home Health Care Provider and was a member of the Hickory Ground #1 Baptist Church south of Henryetta.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Doris Ramirez.

Survived by her children; Angela and husband Daniel Barrett of Henryetta Willie Murphy Jr and wife Angie of Henryetta Patrick Murphy of Henryetta Yolanda Banaster and husband Raymond of Henryetta 14 Grandchildren Brother: Billy Gambler of New Mexico Wallace Gambler Jr. of Henryetta Sisters: Launia Nye of Henryetta Amelia Gambler of Henryetta Carmelita Gambler of Henryetta Many nieces and nephews.

Wake service will be 7:30 pm Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Hickory Ground #1.

Funeral Service will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Hickory Ground #1 Baptist Church with Rev. Mitchell Taylor and Rev. Sydney Lee officiating. Interment will be at the Murphy Family Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
