Richard Keith Moydell

March 23, 1956 ~ February 19, 2006

Richard Keith Moydell of Muskogee died in Tulsa on Sunday, February 19, 2006 at the age of 49. He was born in Greenville, California on March 23, 1956 to Dick and Shirley Moydell. Richard was a graduate of Ft. Gibson High School and he later attended OSU. Richard was known to his close friends as Dicky.

He was a gifted artist from oil painting to sculptures, some of his work was displayed in art galleries. He was famous for sketching cartoons of his family and co-workers, always good for a laugh.

Richard worked for Camel Tires in Muskogee for eighteen years and for the past twelve years he was a Tool & Die Technician for Grant Pride Company. He was a strong individual physically and mentally, ran marathons, played his guitar and enjoyed his grandson.

Richard is survived by his mother and father, Shirley and Dick Moydell of Muskogee, his daughter, Erica Frazier and her husband Robbie of Muskogee, mother of his child, Darcy Moydell of Muskogee, three sisters; Deborah Oliver and her husband Craig of Tulsa, Cindy Moydell of Ft. Gibson and Kim Clagg and her husband Brian of Ft. Gibson. Richard's life long friend; Glenn Crisp of Tulsa. His grandson; Ethan and step-grandson; Jonathon Frazier. Nieces and nephews; Gloria Pittel, Evan Crisp, Eric and Kyle Adkins. Other family and friends that are sure to miss him.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2006 at the Timothy Baptist Church with Reverend Kelly Payne. Arrangements are under the direction of Muskogee Cremation & Funeral Service.
