Carrie Sue (Sullivan) Moss

February 19, 1931 ~ September 18, 2021 (age 90)

Carrie Sue Sullivan was born on 02/19/1931 in Paris, Tennessee to parents Mary Tennessee and Andrew Thomas Sullivan. Her family included a total of 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

She attended schools in Tennessee.

In 1951 she married James Arthur Moss. The had 4 daughters- Linda Moss Buford, who is married to David LaRoy Buford (Roy); Sandra Kay Moss Davis, who is married to Jim Davis; Dianne Moss Jordan and Donna Carole Moss Casey, who is married to Carl Casey all from Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Carrie’s husband James Moss was enlisted in the United Sates Army, the family moved often and each daughter was born in a different state. James Moss passed in an automobile accident which occurred in Virginia.

In 1968, Carrie Sue and her daughters moved to Ponca City, Oklahoma where Carrie met George Schwarz, Sr. with whom she lived happily until George's death in 2004. With George Schwarz, Sr. she gladly gained two sons -George (Ed) Schwarz, Jr. and Jack Schwarz and their families.

During her lifetime, Carrie worked very hard to provide for her family.

Carrie enjoyed doing many things. She enjoyed watching Ed Schwarz, Jr. dirt track race in his stock car. She also wanted to hear how her son-in-law, Roy, did in his stock car racing. She loved traveling with George Schwarz, Sr. to different states especially Colorado and her home state of Tennessee. She loved to read. She was an Oklahoma University football fan. In her later years, "The Today Show" and "Jeopardy" could count on Carrie watching every day she could. She especially looked forward to her family members coming to visit her where she would get a hug. She treasured every minute of their visits.

Carrie passed from this life on 09/18/2021. She was able to be at her home sleeping in her favorite chair when she left us.

She leaves behind her children, their spouses, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren and friends. Each of the above was dearly loved by her. All of the above family will carry and treasure many wonderful memories of Carrie Sue Moss-Schwarz.

Carrie is now at rest with her Heavenly Father.
