Tony Jay Morrow
February 7, 1950 ~ June 4, 2020 (age 70)

Tony Jay Morrow passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2020 in the dawn of a beautiful morning, at the age of 70 years 3 months 28 days. His journey began with a chorus of his family singing at his side and the birds chirping. In the weeks prior, Tony was surrounded by his family and friends, that he had touched in some way during his memorable life. Memorial Services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at the Many Springs Baptist Church, 7375 E. 137 Road, Holdenville, Oklahoma, with Pastor Eddie Gooden officiating, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service, of Purcell.

Tony was born February 7, 1950 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to F.J. and Lenora (Stelter) Morrow. He worked as a Landman in the Oil and Gas industry. Tony married Jackie (Davis) Morrow and the couple have made their home in the Allen/Gerty area.

Tony is preceded in death by his mother, Lenora Morrow; father F.J. Morrow and wife, Wanda; brother-in-law, Dick Shurley; and son Billy Jack Phillips.

Survivors include his wife, Jackie Morrow; his children, Robin Keen and husband, Neil, Tad Morrow and wife, Tisha, Jerri Yocham and husband, Bo, Jodee Nevore and husband, Phil, Janie Phillips, Daryl Phillips and wife, Tammy; 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; sister, Linda Shurley; step-siblings, Phillip Scott and wife, Caren, Donna Harrington and husband, Virgil, and Dennis Scott. Tony will be forever remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
