Victor Morris

March 4, 1942 ~ December 19, 2019

The services honoring the life of Victor Morris, 77, of Enid will be held at 02:00 P.M. Friday January 10, 2020 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with the Johnny Randolph officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Services and complete cremation care are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born March 04, 1942 to Marshall and Susie“Shippy” Morris in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life on December 19, 2019 in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated in Enid where he graduated from Enid High School in 1960. He then joined the United States Army and served his country honorably for two years. He then returned to Enid where he worked at Vance Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic. He owned and operated a restaurant in Durango, Colorado. He then moved to Tulsa where he worked for American Airlines as an aircraft mechanic. He then moved back to Enid where he worked for Schwann’s and as an auto mechanic for over twenty years. He then began to work in commercial construction and began buying and trading all sorts of items. He was a member of the Corvette Club. He enjoyed carpentry and mechanics and working with his hands. He loved to travel and absolutely loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his brother, Gilbert Morris, of Enid, OK., and sister, Maryann Benson, of Caldwell, Idaho. Also numerous nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, Connie, Dorthy, Bessie, and 5 brothers, Charley, Bud Edwards, Abe, Bobby, Jack Morris.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his name to Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
