Pryor-
Lesa was born on November 25, 1961, in Dumas, Texas, to Lillie
Head. She spent her childhood in Sunray, Texas, where she graduated from
Sunray High in 1980. After graduating, she and her family moved back to
southeastern Oklahoma.
During the summer of 1987, she met Chris, who would later become her husband of 37 years. Later, Lesa and Chris had three children: Colt, Kayden, and Tanner. In 1996, the Morris family relocated to northeastern Oklahoma, where they have resided ever since.
Lesa worked as a Court Clerk for over 20 years, serving both Craig and Mayes Counties. She loved her job and was respected for her knowledge and work ethic.
Lesa had an eye for home decor, and she spent countless hours making her homes beautiful and cozy. She took pride in making every holiday magical for her children and was never lacking in holiday decorations or homemade candies. She was blessed with a green thumb and worked tirelessly on her colorful flower gardens. She loved to hit the road with Chris on their motorcycle. At one point, she owned and drove her own Harley. She ran two successful antique booths, which she intended to devote herself to during retirement.
Mostly, Lesa lived her life for her family. She loved and supported her kids through the ups and downs. She traveled the world with her husband and cared for her mother during her later years. She also loved spoiling her grandkids, Ainsley and Rigel. She had four dogs who will miss her tremendously. She will be missed by many and remembered for her infectious, booming laugh, warm smile, and selfless heart. During difficult times, she looked to God and her faith for comfort and guidance, and she encouraged her family and friends to do the same.
Lesa is survived by her husband, Chris Morris; her kids, Kayden and Tanner; her brothers, Dwain Head and wife Linda of Atoka, OK, and Darrial Head and wife Chanda of San Angelo, TX; grandkids, Ainsley Willis of Sadelia, MO, and Rigel Hamlin of Stillwater, OK. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Head; her sister, Lana Miliam; and her son, Colt.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th, 2025, at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Pryor, OK, at 2:00 p.m. Lesa loved tending to her plants, so plants are preferred over flowers.
