Richard Edward Morgan

Richard Edward Morgan
January 5, 1953 ~ June 19, 2023

Richard Edward Morgan passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 70. He was born to Cecil Clinton Morgan and Opal Inita Morgan on January 5, 1953, in Los Angeles, California.

After graduating from high school Richard worked many jobs, he was a carpenter, truck driver, rancher, and jack of all trades. He also served in the United States Army. On December 14, 1983, he married Mary Lanett Morgan. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and building things. He was the best husband and father, a loving grandfather, and loved to help people.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Morgan; mother, Opal Morgan; son, Richard Morgan Jr; and brothers, Larry Morgan, Danny Morgan, and Frank Morgan.

Richard is survived by his wife, Mary Morgan; sons, Troy Morgan and John Morgan; daughters, Patricia Gross and Carrie Morgan Wilson; grandchildren, Katie “Katherine” Gross, Joseph Decker, Lauryn Keaton, Maryann Morgan, and Kyndell Wilson; his dogs Marvin and Sugar; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 24, at 10am in the Stumpff Nowata Chapel.
