Helen Pauline (Wilkins) Morgan

June 27, 1931 ~ January 16, 2006

Services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., Friday, January 20th at 3:00 p.m. for Helen Pauline Morgan, 74, of Bakersfield, who passed away January 16, 2006 in her home. Pastor Hervey will officiate and interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Morgan was born June 27, 1931 in Clayton, Oklahoma and had been a resident of Kern County for 55 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen E. Morgan, in 1997; a son, Elmer "Ray" Cowart; a grandson, Anthony Langlin; brothers, J. W., Johnny and Floyd Wilkins; and sisters, Christine Vasquez and Irene Wilkins.

Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Cook of Mojave and Alice Cowart of Bakersfield; sons, Richard and Michael Cowart, both of Bakersfield; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; brothers, Billy, T. C. and Ralph Wilkins; and sister, Hazel Cornish.

Visitation begins today (Thursday) at 11:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Mortuary, 3700 River Blvd.
