Wanda Louise (Harris) Moorehead

August 4, 1946 ~ January 1, 2016

Wanda Louise Harris Moorehead, the daughter of William Edward and Barbara Oleta (Gray) Harris, was born August 4, 1946, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and passed from this life at her home in Stilwell, Oklahoma on January 1, 2016.

Wanda grew up attending Watts Public School and graduated from Cave Springs High School. She worked for Toshiba Business Solutions for many years until her retirement in 2009. Wanda was a proud mother to her two children and six grandchildren. She was known for her independent nature, love of learning and greatly enjoyed spending time with her large family in this region.

Those preceding her in death include, her parents, Ed and Barbara Harris, brothers, Raymond and Thomas Harris and granddaughter, Yvonne Salay-Tyson.

She leaves behind a loving family which includes, her children, Tony Moorehead and wife, Christine, of Smithton, IL, Terri Woodliff and husband, James, of Fort Worth, TX; siblings, Oleta Lyons, Margaret Phipps, Minnie Convirs, Ruth Carlson, Marjorie Fox, Shirley Latta, Richard Harris, James Fredrick Harris, Loyd Harris, Corinna Vanderheiden, Colleen Brown, William Edward Harris, Jr., grandchildren, Sydney Woodliff, Eric Woodliff, Maggie Woodliff, Tessa Moorehead and Gage Moorehead. Many other relatives, friends and loved ones also survive her.

A private family and friend gathering will be held at the New Life Church- Youth Center in Stilwell on January 9th at noon. Final arrangements were entrusted to Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
