Donald Wayne "Donnie" Moody
January 31, 1950 ~ October 5, 2020

Donald “Donnie” Wayne Moody, 70, of Bartlesville, formerly of Parsons, Kansas, died Monday, October 5,2020.

Donnie was born January 31, 1950, in St. Paul, MO, to parents Fredrick Dewey Moody and Lillie May Phillips, as the youngest of 9 children. He received his Associates degree of Applied Science from Labette Community College. He was a retired sheet metal worker at Ruskin Manufacturing.

He married Debra Lee Mitchell on December 27, 1976. Donnie served in the United States Army for 5 years in Korea and Germany as a radar technician and wheel and track mechanic.

Donnie enjoyed antique cars, woodworking, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed working and talking about cars with his sons.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Teresa Hill and Lucille Moody and brothers Bob and James Moody.

Donnie is survived by his wife Debbie; sons Kyle Moody and wife Misty and Dustin Moody and wife Stacy; grandkids Dayton and Donovan of Overland Park, Kansas and Alyssa, Mason, Hyndall and Aria of Bartlesville; sisters Darlene Webb of OKC, Francis Hart of Wichita and Alice Kelley and husband Lewis of OKC; brother Paul Moody of Wichita and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 11, following the church service at noon at the Dewey Christian Church. Inurnment will then be held at the Hope Cemetery in St. Paul, Kansas.
