December 15, 1966 ~ June 26, 2020 (age 53)

Carla Darlene (Dicketts) Montgomery, age 53, passed from this life June 26, 2020 in Antlers, Oklahoma. She was born December 15, 1966 to Cassious William “Dub” and Dana Ruth (Capshaw) Dicketts in Atoka, Oklahoma.

Carla was a resident of Antlers for 38 years and a member of the Church of Christ in Antlers. She enjoyed music, reading, watching movies, and spending time with her children.

She is preceded in death by her parents: CW “Dub” and Dana Ruth Dicketts; and grandparents: EJ and Ruth Capshaw and Cash and Vira Dicketts.

Carla is survived by her son: Dalton Montgomery of Antlers, Oklahoma; daughters: Dana Elyse Montgomery of Antlers, Oklahoma, and Piper Cristian Montgomery of Antlers, Oklahoma; bonus children: Bill Davis and wife Christy of Monroe, Washington, Andrea Yates and husband Joshua Vallee of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Zach Warren of Antlers, Oklahoma; brothers: Phillip Dicketts and wife Leslie of Haworth, Oklahoma; sisters: Jennifer Yates of Antlers, Oklahoma, Deanne Marshall Regina of Saskatchewan, Canada; grandchildren: Bobby “Taterbug” Hall, Izabelle Yates, Joseph Rogers and Caleb Rogers; nephews: Derek, Ty, and Cash Dicketts; along with many other relatives and a host of friends.

A celebration of life for Carla will be held at 1 PM Friday July 3, 2020 at the Antlers Church of Christ with Brent Franks officiating.
