Arch Montgomery

???? ~ Dec. 15, 1996 | Age 86

TURKEY - Arch Montgomery, 86, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 1996.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Turkey Church of Christ with Stuart Smith, minister, officiating, and the Rev. Melvin Clinton, pastor of First Baptist Church, assisting. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery at Turkey by MyersLong Funeral Directors.

Mr. Montgomery was born in Rotan. He had played with the Bob Wills band in 1928. He had served in the Army during World War II. He married June Dickey in 1944 at Hugo, Okla. He was a member of Turkey Church of Christ. He had farmed until his retirement in 1975.

Survivors include his wife; and a brother, Frank Montgomery of Matador.

The family requests memorials be to American Cancer Society.
