Matthew Dean Monroe
April 3, 1979 ~ November 29, 2018 (age 39)

Matthew Dean Monroe was born April 3, 1979 in Ukiah, California to Vicki Lee (Turner) Little. He passed away November 29, 2018 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 39 years, 7 months and 26 days.

Matthew spent most of his childhood in the Carter, Oklahoma area where he graduated from high school in 1998. After graduation he found employment at various places including the Department of Corrections. Matthew later began his career in the oil field where he worked at Great White Pressure Control and Allis Chalmers. He later went to TTS and was currently working as a coordinator at UE Manufacturing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He was married to Lachelle (Melzer) in Wheeler, Texas on June 22, 2009. After their marriage they made Elk City their home. Matthew enjoyed riding dirt bikes, 4-wheelers and traveling to Las Vegas.

He is preceded in death by his granddad, Verl Dean Yingling, uncle, Danny Yingling and one cousin, Keith Harmon.

He is survived by his wife, Lachelle, of the home; 2 children, Kenleigh and Carter Monroe, also of the home; his mother and step father, Vicki and Chick Little, Elk City, OK; brother, James Monroe, Elk City, OK; nephew, Dalton Monroe and great nephew, Stetson Monroe; grandma, Fern Crane, Redding, CA and a host of other relatives and friends.
