Helen Dean (Pollard) Monday
October 16, 1956 ~ February 28, 2017

Helen Dean Monday, 60, homemaker, passed away at her Ramona residence at 8:00am on Tuesday, February 28, 2017.

Helen was born on October 16, 1956 in Long Beach, California to parents Pete and Mable (Coatney) Pollard, and step-father Benny Thompson.

In October of 1979, she married Gene Monday.

Helen loved to be outdoors. She loved being outside watching the birds eat from the feeders she had in her yard. Helen loved camping and going to the lake. She also enjoyed playing cards, especially poker with family.

Helen's top priority and her number one joy was always her family. It was the most important thing to her, and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all of them as they loved and treasured her very much.

Helen is survived by her husband Gene of the home; her children, Becky Haberly and husband Kenneth, Angie Hines and husband Robby, Stacy Viles and Beth Bishop and Donnie Waller, all of Ramona; 7 grandchildren; 6 great- grandchildren; sisters, Shari Taylor and Carrie Grounds; brother Danny Pollard; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, and a brother Loren Leon Pollard.
