Leona Ann (Dougherty) Mitchell
October 9, 1941 ~ February 10, 2022

Leona Ann Mitchell passed away February 10, 2022, at her home in Dewey, Oklahoma, at the age of 80.

She was born to James Ross Dougherty and Cleta Wantland in Cherryvale, Kansas, on October 9, 1941. On December 23, 1957, Leona married Charles Mitchell. She spent her working year as a homemaker. She loved spending time on her farm with her farm animals.

Leona is preceded in death by her spouse, Charles Mitchell and her daughter Becky Willig.

She is survived by her daughters: Cheryl Ford and husband Bobby, Janet Geeding, and Cissy Smith and her husband Dave; her grandchildren: Cody Ford, Jesse Willig, Bobbie Matthew and husband Josh, Billie Kelley, Cameron Geeding and wife Kodye, Chance Willig and wife Sabrina, and Colin Geeding; as well as 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Monday, February 14, at 2:00pm at Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel and is under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory.
