Jessie Lee Mitchell

June 29, 1929 ~ Jan. 28, 2002

SANFORD - Jessie Lee Mitchell, 72, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Stinnett Cemetery in Stinnett. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Mitchell was born June 29, 1929, in Atchly, Okla. He was a roofer.

Survivors include three sons, Danny Geer of Fritch, and Ronnie Geer and Shanon Mitchell, both of Sanford; six daughters, Debbie Jones of Borger, Laurie Abeln of Sheridan, Wyo., and Patty Schaefer, Linday Kay Lindsey, Janice Jones and Kathy Sweiger, all of Lebanon, Ore.; three brothers, Marvin Mitchell of Durant, Okla., E.W. "Pee Wee" Mitchell of Amarillo and Jessie Elmer "Buck" Mitchell of Borger; a sister, Essie Jobe of Calera, Okla.; 25 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
