Evelyn Juanita (Wildman) Millikan

October 12, 1926 ~ March 8, 2013

Evelyn Juanita Wildman Millikan 86 year old resident of Vici, Oklahoma passed from this life on March 8, 2013. Juanita was born on October 12, 1926 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Charles and Pearl Puckett Wildman.

Juanita was raised in Vici, Oklahoma and attended Vici Public Schools graduating with the Class of 1944.

On February 14, 1942 Juanita married Charles “Jack” Mahoney in Woodward. Two children blessed this union, Anita and Steve. The family made their home in Vici and Woodward before moving to California in 1947. In California they lived in Willits, Vallejo, and Fairfield.

In May of 1982 Juanita married Forrest Millikan in Reno, Nevada. The couple lived in Sharon, Enid, and Woodward, Oklahoma from 1982 to 1995. She moved to Breese, Illinois in 1995 and in 2000 moved to Crossville, Tennessee.

Juanita worked as a telephone operator for AT&T. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers and enjoyed embroidering along with spending time with her family and friends. Juanita was baptized and was a member of several different churches over her lifetime.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Pearl Wildman, step-mother Ilean Wildman and brother’s Eldon Wildman and Darwin Wildman. She is survived by daughter Anita Steiner and husband George of Crossville, Tennessee; son Steve Mahoney of Bayview, Washington; brother Cecil Wildman of Stillwater, Oklahoma; step-sisters, Darlene Wildman of Carson City, Nevada and Cleta Cantrell of Sharon, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Steve and Shawn Mahoney; one great-grandchild, several nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
