Phyllis (Metcalf) Miller
Nov. 22, 1933 ~ Nov. 5, 2009

Enid, OK _ Memorial services for Phyllis Miller, 75 year-old Enid resident, will be 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation services were provided to the family by Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Pastor Jerry Flynn will officiate.

Phyllis was born Nov. 22, 1933, in Reedsburg, Wis., the daughter of Clarence C. Metcalf and Zella M. (Astle) Metcalf and passed away Nov. 5, 2009, in St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.

She graduated from highschool in Wisconsin in the early 1950s. She married Victor Miller Feb. 13, 1954. They lived in Wisconsin until moving to Enid in 1982.

She enjoyed her family more than anything. She had a great sense of humor and never wanted to miss out on anything that had to do with the family. She loved hearing all of the stories. She also enjoyed reading, puzzles, crocheting, soap operas and her daytime realtiy television shows.

Phyllis worked for Dr. Newell as a secretary for a number of years.

She is survived by two daughters, Nola Jones and her husband, Ray, of Shawnee and Jillion Colson of Shawnee; three sons, Monte Ray Miller and his wife, Sheryl, of Jones, Harley Owen Miller of Enid and Jack Lee Miller and his wife, Michele, of Enid; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters; and one brother.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and one son.
