Larry Joe Miller, 71, of Marietta, OK passed away on September 7, 2022, at Lake Country Nursing Center in Marietta. He was born August 24, 1951, in Winfield, AL, to Luther and Mary Edna (Spiller) Miller.

Larry had been a resident of Burneyville, OK since 1988 before relocating to Marietta recently. He was a self-employed mechanic focusing mainly on motorcycles and ATVs. Larry married the love of his life Phyllis Ann Patterson on May 6, 1984, in Lewisville, TX. He was of the Methodist faith. Larry was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, shooting guns and reloading ammunition. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Those left to carry on his memory are his wife of 38 years, Phyllis Miller of the home; daughters, Tina Miller of Marietta and Angie Fenn and husband Donnie of Pensacola, FL; son, Shane Miller and wife Shelly of Marietta; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Norman Luther Miller; and an infant sister.

Services will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Marietta.
