Celebration of life for Orville "Chick" Miles who passed away on 7-26-19 at the age of 94 will be Friday, August 2, at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Okeene, OK.

Orville "Chick" Miles
May 19, 1925 ~ July 26, 2019

Orville (Chick) Miles was born May 19, 1925 to Ella and Cliff Miles in Okeene, Oklahoma and passed away July 26, 2019 at the age of 94..

He lived in Okeene his entire life. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Okeene. Chick graduated from Okeene High School in 1943. After graduation he joined the US Navy where he served on his ship, the USS Salamaua, an escort carrier in World War II

After returning home, he married Gene Laubach. Together they had five children; Randy and wife Lana, Rodney and wife Dawn, Rick, Ronnie and wife Lois, and Sandra and husband David.

In 1983 he married Betty Lorenz.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one son; Dr. Rod Miles, siblings; Clayton, Clyde, Alice, Kenneth, Guy, and Don, granddaughter; Darcy Lamle, and first wife; Gene.

He is survived by his wife Betty of the home. Children; Randy and wife Lana, Rodney and wife Dawn, Rick, Ronnie and wife Lois and Sandra and husband David. Grandchildren; Nick Lamle and wife Sarah, Danielle Boehs and husband Jordan, Clint Lamle, Charlie Miles and wife Angela, Candace and husband Dr. Matt Kallenbeerger, Derrick Miles, Hunter Miles and Winston Brown and wife Tina. Stepchildren; Jack Lorenz and wife Betty, and Vanessa Teichman. Step-grandchildren; Bo Teichman, Kevin Lorenz and Ryan Lorenz. Great grandchildren; Grayson Boehs, Cash Lamle, Darci Lamle, Austin Miles, and Lexi Miles.

A celebration of life will be Friday, August 2, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Okeene with Pastor Gaylon Cox officiating. Arrangements by Wilkinson Mortuary of Okeene, OK
