Glenn Ray Meyer

July 11, 1959 ~ October 21, 2019

Glenn Ray Meyer age 60 of Goldsby, formerly of Moore, passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 in Goldsby. Glen was born on July 11, 1959 in Norman, Oklahoma. He was the middle child of three children born to William “Bill” Doyle Meyer and Joyce Elaine (Goldsby). Glen spent his early years growing up in Norman. He later moved with his family to Frankfurt, Germany where he attended high school. He later moved back to the U. S. and settled in Moore, Oklahoma, married and raised his new family.

Glen worked most of his life as a truck driver, working for local trucking companies in the OKC, Moore and Norman areas. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a proud citizen of the Chickasaw Nation. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by:

Father and step-mother, Bill and Jeanie Meyer,

Step-father, Paul Gerald,

Brother, Mike Meyer,

Uncle and aunt, Jon and Vanessa Goldsby.

He is survived by:

Mother, Joyce Gerald of Goldsby.

Sister’s Susan Alfert and husband Oz of OK

Cheri dFonteny and husband Brian Norman, OK

Tanya Meyer of Norman, OK

Several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
