Brenda Gaye (Parks) Melton

Services for Brenda Gaye Melton, 50, Ringwood, will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.

Brenda was born on September 8, 1965 in Enid, the daughter of James A. and Sonja Jo Montgomery Parks, and passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 22, 2016 in Enid. She was raised and educated in Drummond, graduating from Drummond High School with the class of 1983.

Brenda married Danny Melton in Enid on March 14, 1986. They lived in Waynoka prior to moving to the Ringwood Community. In Ringwood, she worked for Richard's Grocery Store.

Survivors include her husband, Danny of the residence; daughter, Hillary Melton and boyfriend, Jacob Larson of Enid; sons, Keith Melton and fiance' Sharon of Waynoka, Oklahoma, and Kurtis Melton of Ringwood; two grandchildren; brother, Jimmy and wife Terrie Parks of Taloga, Oklahoma, Gene Parks and companion, Rick of Ft. Worth, Texas , Daryl and wife Karla Stanley of Drummond, and David and wife Gaye Stanley of Enid; Numerous nieces, nephews; as well as two dogs, Davy and Beg.

Brenda was preceded in passing by her parents, Jim and Sonja Parks.
