Alice Ann (Hays) Melton

June 2, 1949 ~ May 12, 2009

Alice Ann (Hays) Melton, 59, of Oklahoma City went to see Jesus on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 surrounded by her family. She was born June 2, 1949 in Okemah, Oklahoma. Alice was a graduate of Crooked Oak High School and later Hills Business College.

Alice met her husband Jack Melton while working together at Unit Parts in 1975 and were married May 28, 1976. Alice has been battling cancer for 2 1/2 years. Her spirit and outlook have been an inspiration to all. Alice has been holding on to the phrase, 'Take Jesus with you everywhere you go and you'll never get in trouble.' Today and for eternity, Alice is trouble free.

Alice is survived by her loving husband, Jack L. Melton; 2 daughters: Nichole Jensen & husband Shaun and Shawna Melton; parents: Howard and Hazel Hays and A.L. & Hazel Melton; 4 brothers: Mike Hays & wife Debbie, Bruce Hays & wife Sherri, Jim Melton & wife Pam and Jerry Melton & wife Debbie; 5 grandchildren: Tristan, Taylor, Nathan, Kyailah, and Tylon along with a host of other relatives and dear friends.
