Melissa Louise Self-Meloy, 60 of Ochelata, OK. passed away on March 9, 2025 in Tulsa, OK. Melissa was born on January 29, 1965 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to Rodney Self Sr. and Mary Maddox.
For the past 21 years she has been driving semi-trucks and she has been driving for Wal-Mart since the beginning of 2019. When she wasn’t working she loved to spend time doing anything fun with her grandkids. One of her proudest accomplishments was being able to have game nights with her family. She loved having all of her children and grandchildren around. You would often find at least one or two of them at her house. In this past year she had started riding her electric bike down our country roads. She made it to the 1,000 mile mark and wanted to go many more. She would take a few weeks every year to enjoy camping. In her last days she was making plans to camp for the rest of the time she had here on earth.
