James "Jim" Meloy
February 14, 1932 ~ December 08, 2018

Heaven gained a loyal follower of Jesus Christ. He was an extraordinary father, grandpa, friend, 45th Korean Purple Heart veteran, fisherman, story embellisher, artist, leader, passionate sports fan, active Enid High School Alumni, member of Newchurch and founder of the Old Goats Club.

His advice was "kick a** and go to the top!" He loved life and was ready for any adventure.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Dora Meloy, and a son-in-law, Ed Smith of Edmond.

He is survived by daughter, Sherry Stutt of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Kim Griffin and husband Danny of Tuttle; daughter, Nancy Wood and husband Tim of Collinsville; daughter, Paula Smith Lane and husband Prentice of Edmond; and his grandchildren, Jesse Stutt and wife Angie, Matthew Stutt and wife Danae, Natalie Brandt and husband Drew, William Wood and wife Katlin, Wesley Griffin, Karley Griffin and Joshua Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Newchurch, 9201 North Rockwell Avenue, Oklahoma City.
