Mildred Jean Meade

Mildred Jean Meade
February 23, 1950 - February 15, 2023

Mildred Jean Meade (Bubbard) was born February 23rd, 1950 to R.B Pruitt and Dorothy Jean Berry of Achille Ok. She is survived by her sisters Louise Vanilew- wife of the late Glenn Vanilew of Overton Texas and Rener Pruitt of Calera Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her husband Coy Kenneth Meade Sr., brother-in-laws Royce Meade, Larry Meade, Ray Meade, and Terry Meade. She is survived by sister-in-laws Betty Sammons of Denison Texas, Vickie Ballard of Denison Texas, and Billie Williams of Kemp Oklahoma. She is survived also by brother-in-laws Nickie Meade of Achille Oklahoma, Jerry Meade of Achille Oklahoma, and Bobby Meade of Denison Texas.

She is survived by her 6 children; Coy Meade Jr.- husband of Amanda Meade of Calera Oklahoma, Ronnie Meade of Achille Oklahoma, Terry Meade of Durant Oklahoma, Stephanie Meade of Achille Oklahoma, Elizabeth Stewart- wife of Chris Stewart of Sherman Texas, and Lori Meade of Achille Oklahoma.

She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; Joshua and Jordan Meade, Caitlyn and Micheal Meade, Mariah and Geordie Madewell, Troy Meade, Jacob Meade, Jonathon Stewart, Caleb Stewart, Kristina Coble, and Kyra and Emma Witt. She was a Nanny and aunt to many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mildred enjoyed playing cards and dominoes and going fishing. She also loved to cook and had a extensive recipe collection. Mildred's favorite thing to do was spending time with her family. She loved hosting family dinners and holidays for anyone who would come.

Mildred passed away on February 15th, 2023. A celebration of life will be held on February 25th from 6-8 at Cunninghams Funeral home in Colbert Oklahoma.

Mildred will be missed dearly by family and friends.
