Robert Lynn McWilliams age 62 of Norman, passed away January 9, 2016 at the Norman Veterans Center.

Born on November 20, 1953 in Norman, Oklahoma. Robert was the youngest of three sons born to John Jay McWilliams and Eileen May Lyng. He grew up in Norman and attended Norman schools. In 1974 he enlisted into the U.S. Army and proudly served his country for two years, stationed in Germany and Panama. After he was honorably discharged he returned home to Norman, married and started a family. Robert worked at various jobs until he became a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. For the past 30 years he has worked at Norman nursing homes, Central State Hospital and most recently at the Norman Veterans Center. Throughout his life he enjoyed camping, fishing, watching movies especially Star Trek movies and reading. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends at the VA Center.

He was preceded in death by: Parents, John and Eileen McWilliams;

He is survived by: His children, Heather Warrior and husband Tobin of Noble, Jason, Michael and Rusty McWilliams of Norman, Two brothers, Patrick McWilliams and wife Patricia of Norman, Norman McWilliams of Norman; Five grandchildren, Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell. send online condolences @wilsonlittle.com.
