Charles M. McWilliams

July 16, 1905 ~ ???? | Age 68

Burlington - Charles M. McWilliams, 68, died Friday in a Kiowa, Kansas, hospital after a brief illness. His funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Monday in the Hazelton Methodist Church in Hazelton, Kansas, with Dennis Hoff officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Hazelton, with the Fischer Funeral Home of Kiowa in charge of arrangements.

McWilliams was born July 16, 1905, in Alfalfa County and was a lifelong resident of the Kiowa - Burlington communities, where he farmed.

He and Goldie F. McConkay were married November 22, 1945, and she survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Harold of Hurst, Texas, and Charles of Borger, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Eldon Page of Preston, Kansas; a sister, Mrs. Mary Daughetee, Hazelton; eight grandchildren.
