Donna Mae (Holden) McVey

April 14, 1938 ~ April 18, 2016

Donna Mae McVey, 78, passed away at her home in Dewey, OK on April 18, 2016. She was born on April 14, 1938 in Garden City, Kansas to Ralph and Vera (Deshler) Holden.

She worked for Munsingwear for many years and was a Dewey, Oklahoma resident, coming from Great Bend, Kan.

Donna is survived by two daughters: Janet Dickey of Copan, Okla. and her significant other Dan Lockman of Pawhuska, Okla., and Vera Stotts and her husband Randy of Dewey, Okla., one sister: Linda Thornton of Pawhuska, Okla., one brother: Darrell Holden and his wife Roberta of Great Bend, Kan., seven grandchildren: Melissa, Cynthia, Jacob, Joseph, Alisha, Jessie, and Brandy and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Billy D. McVey, one brother, Harold Holden and three grandchildren, Kyle, Troy, and Tyiana.

Services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend, KS with Pastor Elaine LeRoy officiating. Interment will be at the Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2016 at Bryant Funeral Home.

A memorial fund has been set up for American Diabetes Association, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
