There will be a memorial service announced at a later date for Lori Lynn McVay, a 65-year-old Stillwater resident. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Lori Lynn (Lohse) McVay, age 65 of Stillwater, Oklahoma, passed away on March 29, 2025, in Enid, Oklahoma. Lori was born to William "Bill" Henry Lohse and Leona (Hromas) Lohse of Covington, Oklahoma, On June 25,1959 in Enid, Oklahoma.
Lori graduated from Covington-Douglas High School in 1977 and continued her education at Oklahoma State University. Upon graduation, she found employment with Stanford University and made her home in Sunnyvale, California. She worked for Stanford for more than 40 years and moved back to Oklahoma to be closer to family in 2020.
She made numerous trips back to California to see friends she had made during her time there. Lori loved history, architecture, food, wine, and traveling. Although she didn't have any animals of her own, she adored them.
Lori made many friends at her favorite Enid Restaurant, Callahan's, with whom she would frequently meet for meals and lively conversation. she is survived by numerous relatives and friends.
