James Paul McNac

June 24, 1938 ~ Jan. 15, 2008

James Paul McNac, a resident of Okemah was born June 24, 1938 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Bessie and Charlie McNac. Paul was a Deacon at the Hickory Ground #2 church. He loved singing and listening to gospel music.

He was married to Augustine (Jimboy) McNac in Ft. Smith, Arkansas on February 14, 2000.

Paul was a Deacon at the Hickory Ground #2 church. He loved singing and listening to gospel music.

He was preceded in death by both his parents, Charlie & Bessie McNac, 2 sisters, Jenny Lee and Corin, 2 brothers, Peter McNac, James McNac, 2 sons, Wallace "Hoppy" Yeager, and Jimmy McNac.

Survived by his wife, Augustine McNac, Okemah; son, Eric McNac & wife Jessica, Muskogee; son, Gerald McNac & wife Dorothy, Corinth, Mississippi; daughters, Nancy Wincle & husband Jeff, Henryetta; Marla McNac, Morris; and Paula McNac, Sapulpa;brother, Joe McNac, Okmulgee; sisters, Mary Bullet, Tulsa; and Martha Lowe, Eufaula; 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren & one on the way,

Pallbearers will be Barton Looney, Norman Henneha, Roley Fry, Jerry Sumka, Steve Randle, and Wallace Gambler.

A wake service will be held Thursday Evening at 7:30 p.m., January 17, 2008 at the Hickory Ground #2 Church south of Henryetta.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 18, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Shurden Chapel officiated by Rev. Mitchell Taylor and assisted by Rev. Sidney Lee and Rev. Gene Harjo. Burial will be at Jimboy Family Cemetery under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home
