Jennifer McKissick passed away Friday, May 6, 2016. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2016 at Sooner Park Wesleyan Church. The family asks that everyone attending wear bright colors and to think of a humorous or memorable story of Jen to share or leave in a journal. A reception will follow at Jennifer's residence across from the church, 439 Sooner Park Road. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.

Jennifer Ann McKissick was born January 8, 1964 in Sharon, PA to Kenneth Allen and Frances Joann (Lurtz) Williams. Jennifer was a Doctor of Osteopathy, with a specialty in Anesthesiology and over 20 years of service to her profession. She also served in the Peace Corp in the Marshall Islands. Jennifer founded Hopestone Cancer Support Center in Bartlesville in 2012 and was the Bartlesville Citizen of the Year for that endeavor in 2013.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Scott and three daughters: Brandy Storey of Lafayette, LA; Gabrielle Storey of Malibu, CA; and Julia McKissick of Bartlesville. She is also survived by her mother, Frances Williams of Fort Collins, CO; sister, Ellen Williams and husband Stephen Whittle of Loveland, CO; two brothers, Ralph Williams of Fort Collins, CO and Paul Williams and wife Kathryn of La Jolla, CA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth A. Williams.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to: Hopestone Cancer Support Center, 120 SW Frank Phillips Boulevard, Bartlesville, OK 74006 or hopestonecenter.org.

A celebration in Jennifer's honor will be held from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Hopestone Cancer Support Center.
