Ruby Jeanette (Burns) Hicks McKinley

October 25, 1943 ~ January 13, 2019

Ruby Jeanette (Hicks) McKinley was born October 25, 1943 at Kinsley, Kansas to Robert Lee and Mable Burns. She departed this life on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at her residence in rural Longdale, Oklahoma.

Ruby was raised in Kansas. She also lived in California before moving back to the Longdale area and resided there for many years. Ruby loved fishing, bowling and spending time with her family and friends.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Robert Burns, Jr., Claude Burns, Earl Burns and Ronnie Burns; one sister, Barbara Harper; She is survived by two daughters, Bea Thomas of Longdale, Oklahoma and JoAnn Smart and husband Mark of Fairview, Oklahoma; one son, Duane Hicks of Longdale, Oklahoma; one brother, Ray Albert Burns and wife Pam of Hooker, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
