Arlanders "Lee" McGraw, Jr.

Dec. 23, 1957 ~ 2006

Funeral services were held April 1 at St. Peter Claver and Holy Savior Parishes for Arlanders “Lee McGraw Jr. Rev H. Patrick Malone and Deacon Ronald R, Easley officiated at the services.

Mr. McGraw was born Dec. 23 1957 in Wichita, KS. To Rose Marie (Brown) and Arlanders L McGraw Sr., and was the forth child and only boy to this union.

He grew up in St., Peter Clavier and Holy Savior Parishes while attending Holy Savior school. He attended Kapaun Mt. Carmel high school and then Wichita North high graduating in 197?. He also attended Friends University,

For many years Mr. McGraw worked along side his dad in the family gas service station. Boeing Wichita employed him in May 1980, eluding layoffs for 24 years until July 2003. He returned to school at Butler Community College.

Photography was one of his favorite hobbies. He took thousands of pictures of friends, relatives, and celebrations, making albums and wall collages of his works. He also loved his parish where he fully participated in all aspects of the faith community and school. Over the years, he was a member of the Wichita Black Arts Festival Association, the Wichita Kansas Roundup Club and held the position of Grand Knight in the Catholic Fraternal Knights of Peter Claver.

 was married to Regina Roundtree on July 12 1988. They have two daughters, K’Brini and Lea, of the home: a son, Air Force Sgt. Raymond Bryant of Panama City, FL; his father, Arlanders L McGraw Sr., Wichita, KS: sisters, Rosalyn Morrow (Terry) of Glendale, AZ., Katrytae McGraw, Hayward, CA., Sabryne McGraw, North Little Rock, AR., Angela Moore (Lavester) Wichita, Artha Mitchell (Arien), Wichita: brother, Kenneth Washington, South Korea thirty plus god-children and a hose of other relatives and friends.
